Our Mission
We endeavor to partner with organizations and individuals in both the public and private sectors to develop high-quality affordable housing for workforce communities, senior living and special needs populations in the 30 counties we serve in Western North Carolina.
Our affordable apartment communities are built to the highest standards and are indistinguishable from market rate housing.
Our board governance is exceptional with leaders from local Councils of Government, Area Agency on Aging, Department of Commerce, Finance, Economic Development, Banking and other fields. A number of our members have served on the board for more than 15 years resulting in cohesive leadership and vision that continues to flourish as we continue to thrive in meeting the needs of our rural communities in Western North Carolina!
We partner with experts in the field of multi-family housing development. Our construction partners and managing agents have more than 50 years of combined experience and are proud to call North Carolina Home.
